Tour Itinerary

Day One: Arrival & Banff Orientation

Your Calgary airport transfer will take you directly to your hotel in Banff. This picturesque resort town is the perfect base for your adventure. You'll meet your crew for a tour briefing and orientation, ensuring you're fully prepared for the incredible journey ahead.

Day Two: Banff to Revelstoke (300km)

Start the morning riding one of Alberta’s most scenic roads, The Bow valley parkway, after spending the morning at Lake Louise, we will continue on to Revelstoke, riding on the Trans Canada through historic Roger’s Pass with breathtaking views. We will spend the night in Revelstoke, which sits on the Columbia River and surrounded by dramatic mountain ranges.

Day Three: Revelstoke Rest & Explore

Today is a day to either rest or seek some adrenaline. Options to explore the beautiful town of Revelstoke, where you can go white water rafting, zip-lining, ride a gondola, or go for a hike. The choice is yours to create your own adventure.


Day Four: Revelstoke to Osoyoos (300km)

Your journey continues southwest as you ride from Revelstoke towards the sun-drenched region of Osoyoos. The landscapes will transform from towering mountains to the rolling hills and fruit orchards of British Columbia's famous Wine Country. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the evening to begin exploring the local vineyards and tasting rooms.

Day Five: Osoyoos Rest & Explore

Spend the day indulging in the rich flavors of British Columbia's wine region. You can visit the Nk’Mip Cultural Center for a local indigenous experience, as well as the opportunity to visit various wineries, learn about the local viticulture, and sample world-class vintages. Take your time exploring the vibrant culture and beautiful scenery of this renowned area.

Day Six: Osoyoos to Creston (250km)

Ride through beautiful Kootenay’s before entering Creston where you will have the authentic experience of staying overnight in a teepee and a Canadian pastime of campfire and stargazing.

Day Seven: Creston to Fairmont Hot Springs

Today we will ride to the Bavarian town of Kimberley, a small mountain town tucked into the Purcell Mountains. We will spend the night at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, Canada’s largest mineral hot pools.

Day Eight: Kootenay National Park & Banff

On the final full day of riding, you will journey from Fairmont Hot Springs up through the Kootenay National Park along scenic Highway 93. This route connects you back to the heart of the Canadian Rockies, offering a final opportunity to take in the dramatic landscapes and epic mountain passes. You'll celebrate the end of your incredible journey with your crew in Banff.

Day Nine: Departure Day

After a final breakfast, it's time to say goodbye. You can either spend some time exploring Banff on your own or head to the airport for your flight home. The choice is yours.

FAQ

  • Our fully guided tours include an adventure motorcycle, accommodations, fuel, national park passes, curated routes, a professional tour guide and a support vehicle to passengers, luggage, and provide assistance. Many tours also include cultural experiences, to make the journey unforgettable.

  • Our tours are designed for riders with at least an intermediate level of motorcycle experience. You should be comfortable riding in various conditions (mountain roads, curves and light gravel sections) and group riding. Safety is a priority at Askiwa. If you are unsure, reach out to us, we can recommend the best route for your comfort level.

  • You’ll need to bring your motorcycle license, riding gear(helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, protective pants.) and personal items. Pack like you would for any motorcycle journey. Rental riding gear is available, subject to availability.

  • We keep our groups small and personal, with a maximum of 8 riders plus a guide and support vehicle. This ensures safety, camaraderie, and a premium experience.

  • Our support vehicle carries luggage, provides backup in case of emergences, and has basic medical supplies. It also offers comfort for non-riding companions who wish to join the journey.

  • Our tours begin and end in Banff or Canmore, Alberta. Airport transfers are included from Calgary International Airport.

  • Cancellations made 60+days before departure receive a refund (minus deposit). Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable, but credits may be applied toward a future tour. Check our T&C’s page for more details.

  • In the Canadian Rockies weather can change quickly, even within the same day. You can expect a mix of sunny skies, cool mountain mornings, and the possibility of rain or sudden temperature drops, especially at higher elevations and mountain passes.

    We recommend packing layered riding gear, waterproof protection, and being prepared for all conditions. Riding gear not being used can be stored in the support vehicle. Your guide will provide daily weather updates so the group can ride comfortably and safely.

  • Yes. Askiwa offers several ways to reward our riders.
