Tour Itinerary
Day One: Arrival in Canmore
Your Calgary airport transfer will take you to your hotel in Canmore. Canmore is a picturesque town, situated 81 km west of Calgary, at the edge of Banff National Park, Canada's oldest National Park. Canmore is affectionately called "Queen of the Rockies". Today you will meet your crew for your tour briefing.
Day Two: Canmore to Fairmont Hot Springs
We will ride through Banff National Park, before entering Kootenay National Park in the province of beautiful British Columbia. Highway 93 is one of the most scenic highways in Canada. It's a bucket list adventure route with plenty of wildlife to see and some of the most breathtaking scenery. We will overnight at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, Canada's largest mineral hot pools.
Day Three: Fairmont Hot Springs to Emerald Lake
Today we will ride north along the Columbia Valley. We will stop at the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge (the longest covered bridge in Canada). Passing through Golden, BC and stopping to see the famous spiral tunnels, here you may get a photo op of a train passing through before stopping at the spectacular Takakkaw Falls (meaning Magnificient in cree) and the Natural Bridge before staying the night at Emerald Lake Lodge, which offers beautiful lakeside cabins with rustic luxury surrounded by turquoise waters and towering peaks.
Day Four: Lake Louise to Banff
We travel east to the world famous Lake Louise, were we will take in the stunning views and after a picnic lunch we will continue east down the Bow Valley Parkway (1a) stopping at Johnston Canyon, with its dramatic scenery. We will then head to Banff, where we will spend the night.
Day Five: Departure Day
Spend time exploring Banff, or fly home. The choice is yours!

Our fully guided tours include an adventure motorcycle, accommodations, fuel, national park passes, curated routes, a professional tour guide and a support vehicle to passengers, luggage, and provide assistance. Many tours also include cultural experiences, to make the journey unforgettable.

Our tours are designed for riders with at least an intermediate level of motorcycle experience. You should be comfortable riding in various conditions (mountain roads, curves and light gravel sections) and group riding. Safety is a priority at Askiwa. If you are unsure, reach out to us, we can recommend the best route for your comfort level.

You’ll need to bring your motorcycle license, riding gear(helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, protective pants.) and personal items. Pack like you would for any motorcycle journey. Rental riding gear is available, subject to availability.

We keep our groups small and personal, with a maximum of 8 riders plus a guide and support vehicle. This ensures safety, camaraderie, and a premium experience.

Our support vehicle carries luggage, provides backup in case of emergences, and has basic medical supplies. It also offers comfort for non-riding companions who wish to join the journey.

Our tours begin and end in Banff or Canmore, Alberta. Airport transfers are included from Calgary International Airport.

Cancellations made 60+days before departure receive a refund (minus deposit). Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable, but credits may be applied toward a future tour. Check our T&C’s page for more details.

In the Canadian Rockies weather can change quickly, even within the same day. You can expect a mix of sunny skies, cool mountain mornings, and the possibility of rain or sudden temperature drops, especially at higher elevations and mountain passes.
We recommend packing layered riding gear, waterproof protection, and being prepared for all conditions. Riding gear not being used can be stored in the support vehicle. Your guide will provide daily weather updates so the group can ride comfortably and safely.
