Tour Itinerary

Day One: Arrival & Banff Orientation

Your Calgary airport transfer will take you to your hotel in Banff, a world famous destination and Canada’s first National Park. Today you will meet your crew for your tour briefing.

Day Two: Banff to Jasper (290km)

Start the morning riding one of Alberta’s most scenic roads, the Bow Valley Parkway with a stop at beautiful Lake Louise. From there we will continue on the Icefields Parkway, ride one of the most scenic highways on earth, with a stop at the Columbia Icefield, before arriving in Jasper National Park, where we will spend the night in the vibrant town of Jasper.

Day Three: Jasper Rest & Explore

Today is a rest day, where you can explore the town of Jasper, hike Malgine Canyon, or enjoy a scenic boat trip on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island, one of the most iconic and photographed spots in the Canadian Rockies. It is a sacred place for the Stoney Nakoda people, the island was a spiritual site where ceremonies were performed and is considered a place of deep connection to the land and ancestors.

Day Four: Jasper to Kamloops (440km)

Start the morning with a short ride to Mount Robson, here we will stop to see the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Before arriving in Kamloops we will stop at stunning Helmcken Falls. We will overnight in Kamloops which sits at the meeting point of the north and south Thompson Rivers in south central BC, here we will spend the night.

Day Five: Kamloops to Revelstoke (200km)

Today we ride along the Shuswap Lake. Before staying the night in Revelstoke, a charming mountain town with stunning scenery.

Day Six: Revelstoke to Ainsworth Hot Springs (420km)

Today, we will take a scenic ferry ride on the Arrow Lake ferry, a unique experience, across glacial waters. We will spend the night at the Ainsworth Hot Springs, known for its natural hot, healing springs, caves, scenic lake & mountain views and a peaceful retreat after a day of riding.

Day Seven: Ainsworth Hot Springs to Creston (100km)

Today we will ride one of the most scenic motorcycle roads, Highway 3A where we will take a ferry ride across Kootenay Lake (one of BC’s largest lakes). We will stop at Creston, where we will overnight in teepees, offering an unique cultural experience.

Day Eight: Creston to Fairmont Hot Springs (200km)

We will ride to the Bavarian town of Kimberley, a small mountain town tucked into the Purcell Mountains. We will overnight at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, Canada’s largest mineral hot pools.

Day Nine: Fairmont Hot Springs to Banff (170km)

On the final day of riding, we will carve a path through Kootenay National Park, conquering the scenic Highway 93. This stunning ride winds through dramatic alpine passes and alongside pristine mountain lakes, offering endless photo opportunities and a constant sense of awe, as we make our way back to Banff.

FAQ

  • Our fully guided tours include an adventure motorcycle, accommodations, fuel, national park passes, curated routes, a professional tour guide and a support vehicle to passengers, luggage, and provide assistance. Many tours also include cultural experiences, to make the journey unforgettable.

  • Our tours are designed for riders with at least an intermediate level of motorcycle experience. You should be comfortable riding in various conditions (mountain roads, curves and light gravel sections) and group riding. Safety is a priority at Askiwa. If you are unsure, reach out to us, we can recommend the best route for your comfort level.

  • You’ll need to bring your motorcycle license, riding gear(helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, protective pants.) and personal items. Pack like you would for any motorcycle journey. Rental riding gear is available, subject to availability.

  • We keep our groups small and personal, with a maximum of 8 riders plus a guide and support vehicle. This ensures safety, camaraderie, and a premium experience.

  • Our support vehicle carries luggage, provides backup in case of emergences, and has basic medical supplies. It also offers comfort for non-riding companions who wish to join the journey.

  • Our tours begin and end in Banff or Canmore, Alberta. Airport transfers are included from Calgary International Airport.

  • Cancellations made 60+days before departure receive a refund (minus deposit). Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable, but credits may be applied toward a future tour. Check our T&C’s page for more details.

  • In the Canadian Rockies weather can change quickly, even within the same day. You can expect a mix of sunny skies, cool mountain mornings, and the possibility of rain or sudden temperature drops, especially at higher elevations and mountain passes.

    We recommend packing layered riding gear, waterproof protection, and being prepared for all conditions. Riding gear not being used can be stored in the support vehicle. Your guide will provide daily weather updates so the group can ride comfortably and safely.
